Forever Yours

Not that Nirvana aren’t awesome or whatever, but the whole ‘Smells Like Teen Spirit for Christmas number one’ thing? Hmm… I dunno. Okay, it was cool with RATM, but now it’s just getting a bit old. (Are the X Factor even running for an Xmas no1 this year?) However good Nirvana’s songs may be, everyone’s heard them before! Kurt Cobain is (sadly) dead - what do Nirvana have to gain from getting a Christmas number one? Nothing. (Would Cobain have even wanted a Christmas number one? Probably not, to be honest.)

But you know who does want and deserve one? Alex Day.
Not heard of him before? I’m not too surprised… 22 years old, unsigned, well known on Youtube (but not really anywhere else); he’s currently number four in the iTunes charts! He is a boy with talent and he is someone who really deserves a number one this Christmas.

Basically, what I’m saying is, as great as Nirvana are, everyone’s already heard of them - they stand to gain nothing from getting a Christmas number one. Alex Day (or Nerimon, as he is known to his many Youtube subscribers) on the other hand has everything to gain from getting a Xmas number one this year… And if the simple fact that he deserves it more than the awful manufactured pop bands dominating the charts isn’t enough for you, he’s donating all the money he gets from single sales to charity. I know, what a sweetheart.

There’s not really anything else to say about it, I just wanted to put this out here and urge you guys to buy his single “Forever Yours” off iTunes. Let’s give this kid a Christmas to remember, huh? ;)

Nerimon for number one!

(More info on Alex Day and his single “Forever Yours” can be found on his website and his Youtube channel)
